India’s first AI Game Jam 2025
Supercharge your game development from concept to completion with AI. In this AI Game Jam, use AI tools for creating game assets from game art, environment , music, AI-driven gameplay mechanics and unleash your creativity. Pair them with powerful and scalable engines like Unity, Unreal, GameMaker, or Cocos Creator to create amazing games
- • Max 25 Teams can participate with max size 3 members in each team. Team Size: 1–3 members
- • Eligibility: Open to individuals and teams across India
- • BYOD, Bring your own device (20 PC's available for use at premise, availability on first come first serve)
- • Time Duration : 9Hr [8Hr for Game Development, 1 Hour Included to record Explanation of Game and Usage of AI Tools]
Participation Format
- • Use only legal assets (public domain, licensed, or self-created).
- • Use at least one AI tool in your game asset creation and game development workflow.
- • Reserve the last 1 hour to explain your game , development process and your usage of AI tools.
- • The game development must occur within the jam period
- • Any game engines can be used which are scalable like Unity, Unreal, Cocos Creator etc.
- •Maintain respectful and inclusive behavior throughout the event.
Do’s
- • No pre-existing assets should be used.
- • Clearly document any AI tools or models used in your submission
- • Don’t skip submitting the explanatory video, incomplete submissions won’t be judged.
- • Don’t submit unplayable games, they won’t be judged.
- • Don’t use AI text-to-game tools for creating ready-made games; use AI tools to only augment your game development journey.
Don’t
Submission Criteria
• .apk, .exe or online playable build
• .mp4 explanatory video of Game and usage of AI with tools within the game (max 5 mins video)
• Submission on Google Drive
Evaluation Criteria
• The submissions be evaluated by a panel of video game experts.
• The winner will be decided on the quality of their game, gameplay mechanics and the usage of AI tools in their game-development.
Results and Prize Money
• Result Announcement Date: 10th May 2025
• Prize Money: Total sum of ₹2.5 Lakhs will be distributed among winners
Ownership
• Your game belongs to you. After all, you made it! We as organizers and affiliates claim no rights or ownership of your game.
• We do request the right to use your game for the purpose of publications.
